Belum Caves, Andhra Pradesh

The second natural largest and longest cave in India after Krem Liat Prah caves in Meghalaya. This cave consists of black limestone as this system is knowns for its unique formation such as Stalactite and Stalagmite formation. This cave has long passage, galleries, spacious caverns with fresh water and siphons. However, this natural were formed over a period of millions of years with consequent formation of limestone. Its length of 3,229 m, but today only 3.5 km of the caves have been successfully explored and only 1.5 km accessible for tourists.
